How we rank providers

Kyzen One rankings are independent. No provider can buy a higher rank, and no ranking is influenced by advertising relationships. Here's exactly what we look at and how we decide.

The seven factors we evaluate

Every published provider in our directory is evaluated against the same set of objective factors. Different categories — TRT, GLP-1, longevity, peptides — weight these factors slightly differently to reflect what matters most in that area of care, but the underlying signals are the same.

1. Trust signals

We check licensing, professional oversight, regulatory standing, and operating disclosures. A trusted provider tells you who their medical director is, which states they're licensed in, whether they're HIPAA-compliant, and whether they hold third-party certifications such as LegitScript for telehealth.

2. Geographic coverage

We look at where a provider can actually treat patients today: how many states they hold active licensure in, whether they operate as nationwide telehealth, and whether they offer in-person care for patients who want it.

3. Clinical services

We catalog the actual services and treatments offered: lab panels, prescription therapies, in-clinic procedures, body composition testing, and follow-up structures. Providers that offer a complete, coherent set of services for the condition score higher than narrow refill operations.

4. Structured programs

We give credit for clearly defined programs — written protocols, intake to maintenance pathways, and named bundles like "TRT optimization" or "GLP-1 weight management." Defined programs are a strong indicator that the provider has thought through the patient journey end-to-end.

5. Provider data

We look at the size and depth of the clinical team — physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dietitians, health coaches — and whether patients are paired with a consistent clinician or rotated through a pool. We do not reward "AI doctor" patterns.

6. Profile completeness

A complete provider profile — services, pricing transparency, hero image, logo, contact details, clinic description, FAQs — is a baseline expectation. Providers that leave large gaps in their profile rank lower because patients can't make an informed decision.

7. Enrichment quality

Our editors and automated enrichment pipeline verify provider information against primary sources: clinic websites, state licensure databases, NPI registries, and publicly available compliance disclosures. Providers whose information we can independently verify earn a higher enrichment score; those flagged for stale or mismatched data are surfaced for re-review.

How the editor review works

The composite score gives us a starting order. From there, our editors review the top 25 in each category monthly. They can pin standout providers, exclude any provider whose information has materially degraded, and designate one Editor's Pick per category — the provider we'd point a friend or family member to first.

Editors cannot manufacture a score. They can only adjust ranking position, mark a provider as the Editor's Pick, or remove a provider when something has gone wrong. Every editor action is logged.

What's not part of the ranking

  • Advertising spend or paid placement
  • Self-reported provider testimonials
  • Volume of marketing campaigns
  • Affiliate or referral arrangements

How often we update

Provider scores are recomputed whenever a profile is enriched or updated. Editor review runs monthly. If you believe a ranking is wrong — a provider missing, mispositioned, or featured when they shouldn't be — let us know and we'll re-review.

A note on medical advice

Rankings are an editorial tool to help you compare providers. They are not medical advice and do not guarantee outcomes. Always verify licensing, pricing, and services directly with the provider before starting care.
